Hello
I'm using a [stepslider] object in Lemur to control a [data sequenced steps] in Usine. They have 16 steps.
I use an OSC lister in Usine to receive the different parameters (stepslider/x-01, stepslider/x-02...) and apply them to the [Data Seq Step] and it works well.
First question: is that the right way to proceed? Or could it be a "learn" method to have all the parameters mapped at the same time?
Second question: I'd like to have feedback in Lemur when I change values on the [Data Seq Step] in Usine. Do I need to wire each parameter out of the module to
a separate module [osc send] and then type in each adress or is there an easier way?
I hope it's claer enough.
Thank you
multiparameters and OSC
Learn method can be used on simpler UI modules like fader, knob, etc. so you're doing it as supposed for this module. And yes, you have to use send module for feedback, but additionally it's probably a good idea to use Stop modules for input and output signals, and block input when 'mouse down' is active on Data Step Seq, while unblocking the output (either use Pass module on output instead or just 'logical not' to reverse 'mouse down output' for Stop).
