tempo matching and circular metronome

Hi folks,
I am really looking for 2 things which could be connected.

1. A patch that can work out tempo and sync from incoming audio

2. A metronome display that can show the beats on a circle, e.g. a moving ball or clock hand
that rotates, say once a bar, and flashes on each beat.

The result will be a circular metronome that can synchronize with the incoming audio.

Hello,

Detect tempo is a complex task, difficult to implement quickly.
For the point 2, two LFOs, sync to bar, with 0.25 phase difference, and a Draw XY Pad. Color of the ball sync to beat.
