Playing with video player I tried (unsuccessfully) to play a video in backward
I'd like to play a loop forward and then backward ...

Any idea of how could I do that ?

To play video in backward you have to re-encode with the appropriate codec: for example in motion-jpeg.
You have a tool for that in the setup/video.
By definition it's impossible to read a video backward with a standard codec, because of the key-frames.
