hi all,
i got a problem with a cc filter patch.
if i open it as a patch, it works
if i open it as a sub patch, it doesn't
one thing i notice is that the midi in device is different. If i open it as a patch, midi in device has more options
and each time a move my controler, there is this message in the statuts bar :
error : bad virtual midi out device
anyone has this probleme too ?
thx

that patch seems to work ok here - the midi is going into it without a problem. are you having a problem getting midi into the sub patch?
the midi input module will be slightly different depending on whether it's inside a sub patch or in a tracks base patcher view. when you move it inside a sub patch you lose everything below the 'receive' socket - i'm not totally sure why, i'm assuming to keep things a bit neater. what it means in use is that you need to connect a base level midi input (which will talk to your midi hardware) to the blue midi socket on the sub patch. if you CTRL+click+drag you will also get a menu of some commonly used items that will connect with that socket that may be useful for you. hope this helps somewhat, otherwise see if you can explain your problem again - best of luck!
