From the manual:
To activate the OSC monitoring, proceed in the following order:
1) Activate the OSC receive checkbox
okay
2) Choose the Lan adaptor to monitor
i'm not sure which option i should choose here. my choices are:
generic dialup adapter- when i choose this option nothing 'seems' to happen. Nothing appears in the monitor space.
Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection (Microsoft's Packet Scheduler)- when i choose this option i get the message: "Failed to Start Monitor - Violation d'acc?s ? l'adresse 004F1A39 dans le module 'Usine 2.54.exe'. Lecture de l'adresse 00000000"
Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller (Microsoft's Packet Scheduler)- when i choose this option i get the message: "Start OSC monitoring Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller (Microsoft's Packet Scheduler)
Time Prot Plen Source IP:Port Dest IP:Port Service Dlen Packet Data
Any ideas?
4) But if you want to verify that you are connected and see incoming messages,
activate the Display Message checkbox. Note that activating this function can cost a
lot of CPU.
No matter which adapter i choose, i don't see incoming osc messages.
5) If you want to activate localhost OSC monitoring, you have to choose the local UDP
port.
What is local host monitoring? Is my local host considered Usine or Monome?
I also wanted to point out that some of the dialogue tabs in the latest release are in French...me no speak french
Lots of questions, i know. Thanks for your patience!
