Question 1 : when triggering a sampler with midi, is it possible to set a value so that the sampler play the full sample, even if the midi keybord key is released. My intention was to experiment with a set of samples with various lengthes and triger them with a midi sequence or keyboard, in a random order.

Question 2 : actually, I can't get the sampler to play several samples at the same time, it works with only one voice. Normal ?

something like this ..?:

this way you can choose the midi note who play the sample and even if you replay the same note , it works...

of , course the sampler is set to " play button"

second question : yes it's normal ...

Thanks yan, but I don't think it's what I need. I just want to build the "sampleur aléatoire" that I have described on your forum.
So each time I press the same key (C3 for instance), the sampler plays a random sample from the sample set, but plays it fully.

yes, thanks - now if works, but i'm not satisfied - I tried the loop mode, not bad, but I can't control the flow

the problem is that the sampler can't ply several waves at the same time

so bad

I mean that I can't trigger manually the samples, they play automatically one after one in the loop mode.

OK nay, I did a mistake yesterday night, it works. Now if I want to feed the input of the sequencer with a midi sequence or a midi vst, what do I have to add ?

midi in -->piano roll-->your sampler or vsti
save this as a patch"my midi.pat "
then drag and drop this patch on a track of the sequencer...
