Hi all.
I'd like to build a parametric 3 band Eq using Usine filters. How to do? Lp+hp+Bp? In series? in parrallel? How to configure it if I want a defaut preset that dont alter the sound? any help would be great !
Thanks .

Hi moody33,
Can't help you but very interested in parametric eq!
I'm also curious about the quality. I've tried a lot of VSTs, the sound can be very different, and some of them cost a lot of CPU...
... and a few ideas (as I can't build it myself

): a curve to represent the alteration ? A way to choose the number of bands ?

The Usine Filter is more designed like a Moog filter and was chosen for its 'Musical Quality' more than for its 'Audio Fidelity'.
So I'm not sure you'll get good results(?)
Nay-Seven will add a small param EQ in its synthesis pack, which will be out very soon.

thanks senso. I really like the sound of your filters ( the best I've heard in the digital domain ) , that's why I 'd like to build an experimental parametric EQ using these filters ! I don't want audio fidelity, I want to destroy the sound ! But sure, I also like to have a neutral configuration before destroy it. So, if you can help me , should be cool ! Is it possible to build a kind of three band parametric filter ? How to do? Even if you think it's not a good idea, I'd like to test.
Thanks
