hello everybody!!

i have an idea for a patch, but i'm kinda new to patching, so i could need your help...^^

I would love to create a patch which shows you the overview of certain parts of a song:

i was thinking of such an interface:

a grid with 8 steps and 4 lines (for example SYNTH 1, SYNTH 2, BASS, DRUMS)

in one step, the longest sequence should be played one time, the others should be looped - so when we say that the grid has 8 steps the longest part should be played 8 times, but maybe other parts (drums or somethin) are played 32 times...

Furthermore i would love to be able to choose certain song segments, f.ex.: intro - verse - refrain

so, when we say one clicks on "verse", he should be able to see and change the parts of the verse in the grid

i hope you got my idea.. maybe someone could help me?!?!

maybe a good start could be to open for example the "demo 08 sequencer ( slaps ) in Live mode to see how the sequencer can help you , then check also the world of the markers in the sequencer...

...and combine conductor scenes with marker-jumps patching!
