I am trying to get the font colors of text (comment) modules in the interface builder to be selectable via preset.
So far I have this which works but was just a guess which gives me some colors but not the range I would like.Any suggestions?
It doesn't need to be terribly precise.

Did you check this thread:

That's if I understand your problem correctly...

That hits the nail on the head perfectly. Thanks! Now I can muse over a way to get a wide sweep of color variation using only one fader...
Off topic, I am building an interface that mirrors my midi controllers and I would like to insert strong vertical lines between each column of knobs and buttons to help my eye easier differentiate the controls. I don't see any particular function for drawing dividers in the interface builder so I am wondering what the best approach might be?

Hello,
Wouldn't "Separator & Panel"-module do the trick? Try the different settings on it.

I use panels too, the cool thing is that you can "animate" the color...and they can act as switch/button as there is a "mouse down" outlet.
indeed the 3 fader RGB trick is better imo to animate color, then you can add a global multiplier fader from 0 to 1 x.x to each of them to animate the "brightness". I found panels are great as switch as they let you difference their visual status from what they send.
