Hello Usiners !

After using Usine for Midi, i try it to build some(thing) audio add-on.

My first try is make some Molar/Mlr like add on.

here some links for info/video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPqTdOERX3c

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsYcLnGm ... re=related

Ok, now my first problem...

I try to assign a start position and a end position to a button.(i make this for 8 button, this cut the sample in 8 part)
For the start position : ok (i put a A*B with the value on B after the button to "Start "of a Sampler)
When i make the same thing for the end position , the end position go directly to 0...i know i miss something...but what...

Other thing, it's possible to put the "loop" mode on sampler and only play the loop when you push the button(one of the 8)?

I know it's not very clear(in my brain it's super clear :) )

I try to put a screen maybee this night.

Ps : and yes Nay-seven i'm goin to upload the photo ;)

wow, you are not beginning by the simplest !

If i don't misunderstood, the first step is to 'cut' the sample in height (or more) equal part ?

so, maybe you should look at markers of the wavedisplay ?

Hello fellow Monomer! Sorry I don't have any answers for this problem but it's great to see someone try to use the Monome to control Usine...

In fact i'm goin use it with my touchscreen :)

I just want the button send a value to start and end position...for the start it's ok but for the end...this doesn't work with any value(the sampler go crazy and put a 0%= no sound...)

thank's for the reply guy's ;)

just try it , works fine , you can also add a knob linked to the first B+ and the secondB* ,
the second B+ and the thirdB* and so ...to set easily the markers..

btw , here an other way , give by senso for a request on a other forum...

hey fractal still on air? ive tried to build a basic mlr that interest me too, here is a simple pach with the basic idea:
no markers,
a local sync play the 16 step in order, if you press a pos the sync is reset and start from this pos, as there is a A mod B if reached the limit restart, quite fun. maybe can interest you...

http://www.sensomusic.com/forums/upload ... le=MLR.pat

im thinking of implementing a variance to the square,if using hardware sampler/other soft dealing with rex type files made with 16 markers could make a midi version that would automativally trigger good sample..and be compatible with any sampler.
on the otherside usine can be really powerfull, maybe trig the mlr loops from usine, don't know...
note i tried here with 16 step for 2 bar loop.

i wonder if would note be better the sample continue where it "should have been" when the step modified are finished playing, how is it on your mind relating mlr?
