I have a midi pedal controller wich I want to use with usine.
I have 4 tracks with 1 patch each. I want to assign the same midi control to a switch in track 1, another to track 2 , another one to track 3 and another on to track 4. BUT, i wan't assigned switch to respond ONLY IF TRACK is select on the grid.
So in the configuration setup, I have disable " all patches of the rack".
However, even if I'm in "rack mode" and even if I have select the track I want to control, All tracks responds to my CC at the same time.
What I v'e missed? any ideas?

AFAIK there's no option to do the same with MIDI learn as you can with the key learn "only if track selected". If you use the Interface Builder Windows Order remote mode you might achieve what you want, but I haven't played around with the function myself so I can't really tell. And anyway it only works with the interface builder.

However, you can make your own "only if track selected" for MIDI - something like this:

The MIDI learn is of course on the "midi sw", while the other is just to show the output.

If you don't need/want to deactivate the switch(es) when the track is not selected, drop the Not and the Pass modules.

You're right, I was confused between Midi Learn and Key learn.
You're solution do the job very well.
I even think that we don't need the AND module. I've test with a "queue array data " and an array display just after the "midi sw" to see if the switch send something while the track is not selected and while a CC is send. The switch light quickly but don't seems to send any value.

Thanks you professor. You always help me a lot !

You're right about the AND, as long as the track is not selected the switch is being turned off by the Pass.

But if you drop the NOT and the Pass because don't want the non-selected switches turned off when you go to another track, the AND should stay.
