Is it possible to route multiple outputs from the free VST version of Usine?
Can't wrap my head around it...
For an example:
1) I have a track in the VST host (Reaper), that has Usine on it.
2) Inside Usine I have Mobius VST - using 2 inputs and 16 outputs.
I'd like to route these 16 outs to separate tracks in Reaper.

but reaper can see only the 2 in and 2 out of the vst version...

Is this also true for the commercial version?
Any solutions to change that or work around it?

Kaspar, are you aware that if you add more instances of Usine VST on another track in your host, they become additional stereo input and outputs for the main instance of Usine? There are up to 16 stereo pairs from/to usine with this approach

I am aware of that, but I haven't yet tried it because I thought they wouldn't have the same Mobius VST instance in them.
I'll check it out just in case...

sorry , i don't use really the vst version enough to help you with this ...
if you find a good way , could you make us a little tutorial ..?

Tried it for a couple of hours, but couldn't get the outputs from Mobius' different tracks to separate tracks in Reaper.
Maybe I'm stupid, but this seems to be very difficult (if there isn't a limitation in the free version).
I'll try again later.
If I succeed, I'll make a tutorial - might save somebody a days work

nay-seven, in your example you don't necessarily need to bus each output from the VSTI to a new track. You can simply add an "Additional Audio Output" module for each additional output you would like to use.

yes , you're right , as always in Usine , it's each time more easy than your first idea...

my solution could be useful if you want add effect on each track , gone to update the wiki
Thanks Gurulogic

Thanks! It works as intended.
Am I right that Usine allows only 8 mono outputs (4 stereo)?
Anything above that is marked as "invalid" output.

Kaspar, perhaps the 4 stereo outputs is a limitation of Usine free? I can't say for certain in Reaper but in Live I can use 16 stereo pairs.

Yes, perhaps so. I don't think Reaper is the limitation.
