Hello Usiners,

I change my VSTI drummer and the mapping is not the same than my new VSTI Drummer.
I search a script to convert several messages midi note on and note off with new message note on and note off (transpose).
I must to change 30 note on and note off with 30 new note on note off.
I have a lot of wkp with my old VSTI drummer and it is too long to changes all notes in piano roll.
I can do that with patch but I think it is more easy with script, but dont know script in usine, I know jus basic and assembly code..

Thanks for your help.

It's not ideal for the purpose as it has a lot of other stuff in it, but the MIDI mapper patch you can find under libraryother can transpose each note number separately.

However, if you can live with an "unpacked" midi stream (ie only one message per execution block), I think you'd be better off using a Mapper Value and a Create Midi patched before the receiving VST.

When you have "prog mode" on, the range will show the lowest and highest of the two last received NoteOns. Just hit the same note twice for a one-note range. Technically speaking, every note from 0 to 127 is a "range" within this patch, it's just not represented as such. Take a look at patch info for more explanations.

Come to think of: Some velocity compression or expanding might also come in handy as well if the new VSTi reacts differently to that(?).

hello Bsork

Thanks , I will try to do a patch with using a Mapper Value and a Create Midi patched before the receiving VST, like you said.
