standalone vs vst touch behaviour
Hi again,
my first patch is a sampler + wave display that can be touched to manipulate position, loop and pitch. it works pretty nice in standalone mode but when i use usine as a vst in ableton live the touch behaviour changes. the wave display works the way it should when i click on it with the mouse. but when i touch it "mouse down" only lights up when i remove the finger or when i move it. just pointing somewhere on the wave display does nothing. why is that? it makes my whole patch kinda useless...

I've tried to reproduce the problem with some included sampling patch in vsthost, but no way..?
have you try in an other host to check..?

thanks nay, but the same problem occurs in vsthost. i'll try to explain again: when i go to the patch editor and select the wave display module there's the "mouse dwn" led in the info panel. in usine standalone the led lights up when i touch the wave and when i remove the finger from the screen it turns off. in usine vst the led only turns on when i put my finger on the wave AND move it. just pointing on the wave without moving the finger changes the "mouse x" and "mouse y" but mouse dwn stays off. in this case the led only blinks one time when removing the finger from the display. as i said everythings normal when i use the mouse, but that's no solution....
to me it seems like a bug. i'm using v5.10 btw, and i tried turning "multi-touch" on and off. changes nothing... any ideas?

ok that means my machine is the problem. i'm on win7... but what could it be? driver version???
ok,
I confirm, it's a bug, but not really of Usine because Usine doesn't receive the 'mouse down message' as normally, Windows is supposed to send. More a Windows problem?

next release.
