Hi,
I plan to create a random mp3 player with fades beetween tunes, something simple to play ambiente music before and after our performances.
Which module would be the best starting point ? Sampler ?
Have you already done one ?
Thanks for guiding me

Thinking about it, I'd perhaps better look for a free VSTi !

Hi Kara,
I've tried it but it seems old and not user friendly at all ;)
I thougt this kind of VST was common, but after a half hour search, nothing really convincing :/

You're right it's not common at all as a Vsti

ugly but seems more user friendly, and works fine with Usine, thanks for the link ;)

Just a thought, but mp3 playback support for say the Grain Sampler could be usefull if someone wanted to make a DJ style playback / interface for Usine. Most "Digital DJ's" use mp3's...

there is deckadance vsti by image line which clearly is in the 'celestial traktor league'.

regarding free vsti's that askywhale plugin is the best afaik (though RAM usage is excessive).
there also is free Pinky Pluggo vst that can read mp3s.
