Hey guys,
So I've tried for about 4 hours to figure this out and I'm just stuck. Essentially what I want to do is have a X/Y work similar to how a job wheel would on a DJ mixer for effects and such (flange, echo, etc) through Ableton. Ableton's flange effect uses an X/Y pad and can be controlled with the mouse moving the ball around OR modifying the two values which move the ball (I believe it's Delay Time and Feedback). Both Delay Time and Feedback can have MIDI assigned to them.
Here is my problem. Correct me if I'm wrong in understanding this (still a n00bie), but in the X/Y Pad on Usine assigns 0.0000 values as opposed to whole integers. It's my understanding that if whole integers are sent to the Code 1/2 and Create boxes using an Events Control like Has Changed they can create a MIDI message which can be sent to MIDI out (similar to what you would do with a fader or knob). The problem is, I can't figure out how to transform the 0.000 values into integers and I've tried some of the Math modules and can't seem to get it to work.
Am I on the right track or am I going about this all wrong?
Thanks!!
