Matrix and Conductor

Hi !
I can't figure out how to have the settings of the matrix being saved in the conductor !
I had similar trouble with VST and I did a workaround by putting hidden faders of the vst parameters I wanted to have saved with the conductor...
I guess I could do the same with matrix, but is there a more straightforward way ?

that's right, but it "limits" the number of patterns saved to 16...
is there a way to save the cell value directly into the conductor ?
other than build a subpatch with as much dummy fader than the number of cells of the matrix ?

Ahh, you are right--I believe this is a way to do it. I've used this before for VSTs which do not recall presets at all. It should work equally well for this. One problem: there is a lot of naming and housekeeping associated with doing this. Not nearly as simple as just getting the list of preset names from the VST and using that to fill a comboBox. I rarely write new programs for the VSTs I use that do not support program change (and therefore I have used the preset manager for) because there is a lot of additional work in getting them functioning correctly in my WKP..... and I tend to forget exactly how to do it from one time to the next.
FR: It would be nice to have a preset manager that could hold a user-definable number of presets, so as not to have to keep wiring more together to add capacity.... (reminds me of the battery in my hybrid!)
