I was wondering if there is a way to use a preset manager with IB as a Target ...
I built a workspace with 8 tracks and made a sub patch with as many preset manager (x8) as conductor pages (something like 20)
so with a midi pedal, for each conductor page I can recall 8 preset ...
Until now I had a patch to handle the midi pedal, sending infos by bus to each preset manager sub patche (so it means 7 sub-patches including 20 preset manager) and as you can imagine my workspace is quite heavy with 140 preset manager ... it weight 120meg !!
My workspace works fine but I'd like to optimize it ...
So I was wondering if I could have only 1 preset manager by conductor page with all what I see in the IB ... and reduce my workspace from 140 to 20 preset manager

Hope I'm clear but the main question is can a preset manager have all what's in IB as a Target ?

yup no way to directly target IB afaik, (interesting idea)
it could work if all controls that need to be saved,( that are in IB), were all placed in a dedicaced subpatch, with buses to link to their
target controls all over the wksp. then you could use ie my 256PM addon linked to conductor in this subpatch,
that would reduce nb of PM, centralize and optimize saved database, but with a price of more buses, so maybe tiny more cpu.
