I don't know if anyone tried it, but the ReaSurround plugin that is coming with Reaper 4 is extremly powerful. The only problem is that it's a standard VST and I can't use it in Usine. I would like to use it from for live performances, but I can't figure out what would be the best approach.
I "simply" want to control all parameters of ReaSurround from a Usine patch while I feed sound from Usine to ReaSurround and then back to Usine. Maybe the simpliest thing should be to run Usine as a VST from Reaper, but I would prefer to run Usine as the host...

Hello gthibert,
Indeed, the "surround pack" is the solution for spatialisation in usine, but, for the moment, elevation ( Z parameter : the height) is not include in this pack. Only the Reasurround and Acousmodules from Jean-Marc Duchenne
http://acousmodules.free.fr/ are ready and available for free (Most of them...) for that.
i dont enderstand why you want to use Reaper as host ? Usine is completly multichanel Ready, until 32 channels.

And of course you can use Csound's Panning and Spatialization opcodes in Usine too
http://www.csounds.com/manual/html/SigmodPanspatl.html
Otherwise, if you want to route audio from Usine to Reaper without using the VST then you try JACK, Virtual Audio Cable or ReaRoute although you can expect latency doing it this way. Easiest to either do it all in Usine or use the Usine VST in Reaper.
