Is there a way to make this happen? It seems like anything I set to control fullscreen mode is always a toggle, so it goes to the other state from where it's at. I'd like an absolute choice, not a toggle from the current setting.

Thoughts?

My layout is very precise, and if any scrolling occurs, all the controls (about 300) are moved slightly relative to each other (I have everything at grid 4) and I have to lay them all out again. This can happen anytime I'm not in fullscreen mode, so I'd like to make that impossible.

thanks!

have you try to add this kind of patch in your master section ( a midi learn must be done on the full screen button) ?

Okay, you offered this suggestion before I remember, sorry!

I tried to modify it, and ran into the problem that regardless of what value you send out the midi, it toggles fullscreen state. Even when set to ABSOLUTE in the global MIDI list. The secret is to turn it on on startup, and don't let anything else change it.

Thanks and sorry to bug you twice about this :)

This works in a test patch, but in my wkp (which takes a minute or three to open) it does not.

Is there a way to tell a module to hold a value until the wkp is finished opening? I guess I could put a data delay in, but the startup time doesn't seem to be all that consistent.

Alternatively, is there any way to query usine for the state of fullscreen mode?

oops, edited my post after your response sorry....

I ended up taking on init out because it wasn't working. I used on activation, which works, but then it toggles fullscreen every time I save the wkp.

For now, I have a button for fullscreen that I will just have to press every time I startup.
