I need to create a patch which can send NOTE ON messages to NI STTUTER EDIT plugin by a press of a button (not with a switch. I already achieved with it) but with a button it is not working. This button is activated by a program change midi message sent from a pedalboard.

The idea is to activate the effect when a pedal is depressed and deactivate when I lift my foot from the pedal.

Strange you use a button for this purpose cause a button send an impulse (1 then 0 ) so he can't have 2 state like the switch..
so i suppose your pedal send the message 2 time ?
if so, you can use a toggle module this way ?

Thanks Nay Seven again for your always present help. I did not know about the real 1 then 0 behavior of button. I thought that it would sent 1 value for a ON status an tyhen 0 when button was release. This is actually what I want, press pedal and have NOTE ON message, release pedal and have NOTE OFF. The MIDI IMPUT module of USINE filters and detects midi progam change messages 0, 1, 2,
3... Since it is a PC mesage I asume that is sent once. I don't know happens when pedal is released, I believe norhing happens.

ok, so the best way is to check what's happen when you press/release so you can adjust your strategy,.
you have several way to monitor midi incoming, the midi in module , you can also click on the wires to displays a monitoring and of course the console.
