I'm trying to figure out how to have different midi patters, for the same rack, on multiple layers on the grid. Any suggestions? I'm looking for what ableton or renoise does by default.

_use a piano roll with several midifiles,
_add, for example, a fader to the inlet num file
_automate it in the curves of the grid..

you can also add a preset manager to your rack and use the recall presets on activation in the grid for each instance
