Problem with controller and Midi "motorized" mode

Hello
I'll try to explain my situation here.

I have a midi controller sending note on/note off signals into usine to control a switch > it works, the switch toggles on and of.

I have the switch configured in motorized mode so that it sends a midi out NOTE ON signal to control the LED on my midi footcontroller.

When i toggle the switch with the mouse in usine, the midi out works and the led lights up on the controller.

BUT if i use the controller to toggle the switch, the switch turns on in Hollyhock but there is no midi out and the led does not turn on !!

I configured my midi out device with the motorized mode turned ON.
I believe in motorized mode, the motorized fader for example should always follow the position of the fader in usine, if the fader is moved by hand, by mouse, or by an external midi device ?

I'm stuck here, how to i make this work so that when i turn on the switch with midi, it sends the corresponding MIDI out signal ?

Al i tried to use a switch A connected to a switch B, when switch A turns on, switch B follows it.
The midi controller turns on switch A and the switch B is supposed to send a midi note out in motorized mode, but it's not working either.

Have you try the mackie mode for your switch..?

Yes mackie mode : no midi out what so ever.

In mackie mode, The mouse click on the switch does not send midi ouput to the controller (no midi out in the trace panel) and when i turn on the switch with the midi controller is it the same thing, no midi out.

It's a simple midi controller it only understands midi notes and cc.

Can you give me the model of this controller..?

It's DIY based on the livid instruments Brain Jr with 18 switches and 18 leds.

lividinstruments.com, they mainly sell finished midi controllers.

Do you think the problem comes from the controller ? It seems to work well because the leds turn on when usine generates a midi out.

Don't know , but for example, you can't create a motorized midi learn with a launchpad, cause the launchpad is waiting for a specific velocity for the midi out...

i think the problem is solved, it is necessary to select motorized + mackie control !
I really don't know how i missed that.
