Hi,
I can recall a rack preset number with the grid, but not for the workspace. How can I do that ?
Is there a way to remote this preset panel ?
Thanks

you can create an empty rack or use your master rack if you have one , add a preset manager module ( from the browser, not from the workspace setting panel) set its target to workspace and link a fader to its number inlet .
Then you can remote this fader in your grid

It only works with the rack preset panel

You need to drag a fader from the num preset manager in your patch and add it to the grid if you want to remote from a patch.

mmmm, not sure I understand. It's not an option but a combo box to choose your preset number.
Here an example of preset 1 for grid element 1 and preset 2 for grid element 2 :

I imagine if you don't activate the rack preset manager it does nothing ?

OK it works with the rack preset manager and only it.
The grid is more complex to build than the conductor of Usine 5.
With the conductor it is easy to make snapshot of the interface, and very easy to change something and rewrite the snapshot.
With the grid it is more flexible but more complex. I had to add an automation in the grid line (to mute or unmute something for example), and change manualy each automation if i decide to change the state of the mute button in the line. Not possible to rewrite the snapshot ...
I had to build the grid step by step too. No snapshot for all the rack state ...
So perhap's the good deal is to do that with a mix of grid, rack preset and workspace preset ?
I will try.
Thanks.

I think Nay's method (2nd post) is the best way to save snapshots of the workspace using grid lines : grid line number = preset number, and you save the changes from the preset manager.

Yes, but imagine i link the preset number 3 with the line 3 of the Grid. So in the third part of my performance i found immediately all my workspace configuration.
But during the live i need to change some of the setup. For example the preset feedback of the delay is 60% but when i am playing i change it according to the music.
The problem is that each time the line loop restart, the preset is recall and my feedback come back to 60% ...
The same if i bybass an effect, change the state during the live and it suddenly return to his bybass state ...
In fact i'd like to recall a general preset of the workspace but i need to be able to interact with all parameter when i am playing ... so i can't link the preset number with the grid line automation ...

I don't use the grid timeline, I just use it to recall parameters. But I'm pretty sure there's a workaround for your case

Perhaps a grid line to recall your settings, and another one without preset recall to perform ?
