I'd like to analyse the intensity of an audio source, having a kind of dB meter.
For example, if I have a sampler playing, how can I analyse the intensity of the audio out ?
The sampler information windows delivers live data, but I'm unable to collect it...
Thanks for the help.
intensity audio signal measurement
Hi
You may use an enveloppe follower connected to the audio out
you can experiment with the peak follower as well
if you want to analyse the spectral complexity as well, you can use the partial tracker

Thanks Oli_lab
I used the envellope follow which gives me the trigger I was looking for : when the audio signal reaches a chosen intensity, the it trigs the recording, and when it goes back under it stops it.
