I'm trying to control the given sampler patch with a miliseconds counter so I can press the REC button on the sampler to start recording a loop and be able to press the START button in the counter to make it press the REC button againg to stop recording an then press the PLAY button a few miliseconds after to start playing the loop. I've tried different combinations in connecting but I don't get the desired result. In some casas don`t work at all, i others the sampler don't work properly (starts the loop but stops at the end of it with no looping function)

Does anyone have a propper configuration for this?

have you try the patch named rec on the fly...?
in this patch, you can set the sampler to rec and play
will do the job...?

Tried that one but it does not work for me. I needd the given sampler which has some features that I need. also need to be able to stop the recorded loop when played and trigger it when desired

The patch is working fine and actually the milisecond counter is not necessary since REC button also triggers play mode and PLAY button function as PLAY and STOP.

Another thing that I need is to have a sampler with a list of samples that switches to the next sample in the list when the previous one ends

Tis explained in more detail via the link, but when mode is set to 'next' (or an int equal to 1), the sampler will do what you're wanting.
