I was trying to use a preset manager in a patch with the synth lush 101. It seems to hang and become slow changing patches.
Anyone else have this problem? I cannot think of another way to change presets with this synthesizer.

That won't work for a sampler ;)

The PM works great for me with Kontakt, indeed all of NI's stuff. In fact, of the whole NI canon, I think only Massive could be recalled this way. Some Reaktor instruments are very slow to change, but I am loading many MB of sample data in those. I don't think they open any faster in standalone.

But I am still curious about this. Can you upload the patch you use to do this?

It sounds like it might work for seamus.....

Thanks!

what is quite strange is that I used a basic preset manager to store some presets for Lush 101 quite some time ago in a much earlier version of hollyhock. Those presets that were stored a long time ago recall quickly. If I try to modify or store a new one in the same preset manager it takes 5 secs to recall. Its as if the storing method has changed or something. I cannot figure out why.
If anyone has a good method for changing presets with this vst I would like to know. I imagine it has a lot of parameters as it is an 8 voice synth . Perhaps thousands of parameters. It is frustrating to not be able to change presets quickly. I wonder if the array method would work with this synth.
