Hi,
I'm new to the forum so i apologize if my question has already been answered.
Is possible to prepare a midi track to automative rec/play/loop/vsts parameters/stop to get pedal free looping? In Ableton is easy enough to get this thing, but I don't like the GUI and the layout...identical to every traditional DAW. The workflow is frustrating..

PEDAL FREE LOOPING
Hi !
I'm not sure I understood properly, but have try to load the already made patches available with the Hollyhock distribution ?
there is a choice of loopers in the browser : library/usine library/sampling/recorders
from there you may modify the patch to have it react with MIDI (try midi learn >> hit the DIN5 button on the left hand side of your screen)

Hi,
Thx 4 the reply
Yes. The exact thing is automatize those functions of the recorder. I have to make this happen also for a midi track (for commanding a vsti).
Another question: are there samplers that run stereo tracks? I think I can obtain this thing using 2 tracks instead of 1. However is a little bit longer..

Yes the samplers have options for mono, stereo and other multi-outputs.
The wiki has a lot of information and very useful for direct module questions, I use it constantly for reference still
Looks like the wiki says up to 64 channels
