The only way I know to select a link in patch design mode is to click on the dot in the middle of the patch cable. If the dot is over the module graphic, for example if you connect an output parameter back into an input parameter, you cannot click on the dot, since the module "move" icon appears and clicking the mouse does nothing.
How can I select a link in this situation ? Is there a keyboard shortcut or something ?
Simon.
Selecting links spanning the module graphic
you can delete the link (recreate a link between the same inlet/outlets) and if needed use a thru flow module to change the dot place.

I did not know you could delete a link that way. Problem solved !
Thanks,
Simon.

You can also drag-select the module and the wire (shift+click+drag), then CTRL+Clic on the module to unselect it. While the wire remains selected, you can just press Del on your keyboard.
Remember you can also multi-select wires by dragging the dots.
