Automating playback of sequences in pianoroll

Hi,

This is something I can't seem to figure out how to do and it's probably really simple.

Whilst it's easy to switch between patterns manually with the up and down arrows, I'd like to be able to specify a sequence of patterns either sequentially or in a particular order, for example play pattern 1 three times then play pattern 2 once.

I thought an array might work but it's not quite what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm not at my computer at the moment, I believe you can set num file (choose which midi file) via logic. IIRC, the piano roll follows the master clock, which can be controlled programmatically, also. That might be kinda complicated.

What you're aiming for feels much better suited for the grid.

Or use a sequenced steps module ( value 0 to N) linked to the num inlet ?
