Hello...

For my musical project I want to control the drum-sequences live via the korg nanocontrol. Everything works perfect and everything learned by usine is saved in the workspace (Track on/off, FX control, Volume, aso).

Just when I connect the nanocontrol fader to the preset manager, it still works perfect (I can change the presets by fader) - but it is not saved. I tried different ways, but the learned connection is not saved and so everytime I start my project, I have to set the preset change for every drum channel again.

Can anyone help me to solve this? It would make a great music tool perfect :-)

Thanx,

Benjo

Have you test to create (and eventually to share here) a simple patch to check your method ?
for example one knob with 3 states and 3 presets, link the nano...

I am sorry, but I don't get what you mean...

In my rack there is, for example, the midi step sequencer groove from usine and a vst plug for drums. Then I create different presets in the step sequencer and link the preset change (no matter if I use the "<" or the ">" or the pattern list) to the nano (with the other midi devices, too) - it's perfect, works as expected, but when I reload the workspace, it is not linked anymore...
And in the LEARN-list it is linked as "-"...

With Usine there 's always different way to do what you say, that's why i ask ;-)
I can't reproduce this, can you precise the Usine version you use, your OS and version please ?

I use HH3 on different windows systems (1 usine runs on windows vista, 1 on windows 10)...
I'll try to make some snapshots today, but the usine-computers have no access to the internet, so it is a little complicated...

I tried to link it some other way, but cannot find the preset manager in the step sequencer patch...

But everything works fine - when I learn the preset change in the learn list, there the number of the correct CC is shown and the name is shown as "-", but when I reload the workspace, it has vanished from the list.

Ok,
you can also add a patch settings module in your patch and create this to test:

I tried to do it like this, just can't find the "current preset num" in the midi step sequencer-patch... I cannot find the preset manager module at all in any patch I use it...

you need to drag the module from the browser/modules/interface control/Usine patch settings
