video recording quality

Hello, I'm a bit disappointed to get a poor 200 Kb/s video .avi file when recording with the video recorder module, whatever the value of the image rate or the dimensions. Can't find any setting to manage this. Does anyone know something about this limitation ? Thx

The extension of the filename determines the codec used for compression. For best quality, use .mp4, .h264, .mov,.m4v if the codec is available on your computer.
