Button controlling two switches

Unread post by Ariajazz » 12 Apr 2021, 23:40

Hi all. I need a button that can perform the following task: When the button is clkicked once it engages (turns on) a switch A and when the same button is clicked for a second time turns off switch A and turns on switch B (a secondary one).

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ariajazz
Here is a simple patch, but there are many ways to do it.
You can also try the "group" option with many switches.

You have to deal with "pass if change" module.
In this example, you can turn off switch B by clicking on it or using the button "set off B".

Thanks again for your help. I tried that before but thought it had to do with "TOOGLE" function in the switch. Now I get the idea about "SET ON and SET OFF" that were not present in old USINE v5 which I have use extensively.

Hello. Sorry I'm bothering again. The "set off button B" worked fine but there is a little problem: Button A has to be clicked twice to turn on switch A again. This is an issue since this button A is intended to be engaged by a cc midi message and it will only happen once at a time. Any idea on how to fix this?
