Hi guys,
Since I'm going deeper in sequencer use, I must say that there are a couple of things I can't manage. I'm afraid I missed some good tricks...
The stuff is a very big (and very long) workspace with many patches, midi and audio tracks, sometimes huge, sometimes very small.
After 5 minutes of many patches along the time line, I decide to change the tempo (with a user curve).
It works very fine with tempo, but the patches are shifted along the timeline, the usercurve points are moved, and my 198 markers shifted too... Nothing in place just like if time (or bars) stopped to be the reference.
What did I miss?

Well, I've only just recently begun using the sequencer "for real" and I've also noticed the same. To me it seems that the patches' position and length are defined by time, not bars/beats, regardless of what mode the sequencer is in.

Hi Bjørn,
Yes, you're right for the patche's position and length. Did you notice moving of the curve points? When the patch becomes longer or smaller, they don't match anymore with the markers.
Does it mean that patches position and lengt are defined by time BUT NOT the markers?

I know that there is a tricky problem when the tempo change on the sequencer (only in 'Bar' mode)
I'll take a look and try to definitively find a solution...

Hello Olivier,
Thanks for your help.
I'll try in 'time' mode, but what about MIDI patches?
A good thing could be a "tempo track" reflected on the time line. I know this is quite a different logic from Usine's events flow...
Maybe consider the timeline as a track: double-click on it and draw in it the tempo curve?

That really would be a great improvement!
If you can do that, we'll be interested in "importing" other sequencer workspaces at the cursor!
Thanks, Olivier.

I think that the pb is solved.
Now there is no patch position modification when you change the tempo.

Incredible! I can't wait to check that!

Great! Great...
Just for personal workflow organisation: will it be in the next release? When?
Thanks a lot!

EDIT: please?
