I there a way to quantize the next section of the grid, not with Master synchro, but simply at the end of the sample ?

EX :

I use a sampler Player in loop mode to play a loop.
I need to read an other loop (an other audio file in loop mode) when i press a button. but i want this new loop begin at the end fo the previous loop. Totally independent of the Master tempo. Just like if i put a sample after an other sample on a time line.

I try with grid but seems to do the job. Or i can't find how.

Thanks.

you can do a manual quantize to/from anything using either a 'pass' event flow or more easily i feel via ' multi ar affect' math module . not in front of usine right now but if i well remember there is a module to control grid. what you can do then is when you press a button, it makes a pulse 1 pass out of var affect module (ie input one, set to output a value of 1), this goes to a AND logical module where other input is fed by your other triger, ie loop end. so when you press the button, it will wait the other trigger, and then the AND will output 1 to trig your next grid or anything, and at the same time it's fed back to the var affect module input 2 set to affect 0. so the var affect output will set back to 0 and the AND will be reset to 0 as well , and wait for your next 1 affect via button and new trigger.

edit somethink like this( where multivar 2 is 0 by default)

Hi Christophe
What about that ?
With the switch ON, you go to the next sample and to the next grid section.
With the switch OFF you stay on the current looped sample and the current grid section.
Try this patch : NextSample Hope this fits!
Cheers

Thank you very much you two.

XpiR your patch works great and so simple !!!!
I save it in my library.

23fx23 your solution is interesting too because it can be use to quantize a lot of data.

I discover too the Quantize Button. It is a great module.

Thank you all.
