Curious to know if anyone has used Roli Blocks or Seaboard effectively.
Are there any modules that will parse the multidimensional midi data?
I could not find any by searching.

here what i found about :

"The Lightpad Block sends its 5 dimensions of touch using five standard MPE messages.

Strike sends note-on messages in addition to velocity 0–127.
Press sends channel pressure (aftertouch).
Glide sends pitch bend.
Slide sends CC 74.
Lift sends note-off and release velocity 0–127.
"

so the MIDI filter modules lets you select and create a specific device ?

I think the tricky thing is the way it uses Midi channel 1 for global messages and 2-16 for per note stuff.
I'd need to see how that was working. Will have a look at the Max/MSP package tomorrow and see if I can parse the messages.

up !

shouldn't be a problem to make a 15 voice polyphonic subpatch that parse ch2-16 to one of 15 instances of a vst instrument or else and send the ch1 to each voices ?

did any one using the Roli keyboard ? I'm interrested of getting the block version and give it a go with custom samplers...

I could eventually build a sdk user module(s) to be use with MPE interfaces !

sounds cool ?

bought a dev kit lightblock+loopblock a while back but tbh didn't use it that much with usine yet. i tried their sdk as planed to do a custom module at first but with no luck, they are a bit out of their dev forum sadly, looks like they wiil re-merge it with juce soon, so might re-attempt too.
but their scripting engine app 'dashboard' is very fast and nice and in any case it s possible to reroute messages the way we want so i don't think that would be a problem to patch something out of the box or via slight dashboard script editing if that would fit more for usine

looks even cooler !?
can be totally customized.
I'll dig into that : I want to build a stand alone OSC controller with it !

As for sensel, that probably needs a custom module to use properly in Usine.
But for MPE, if notes really are just sent to different channels, then it's quite easy to adapt any VST for it with polyphonic patch. I'm already doing that for different purposes, but might try implement MPE with touch keyboard patch (no pressure sensitivity though, just up-down for velocity/aftertouch) using same principle (distributing notes to different channels).
