When you drop some modules you get the Query options (number of input, etc).
If you then want to change the Query options, you have to delete the module and re-drop it,
thus losing all your connections.
I would like an option that allows you to change the Query options but keep all existing connections
(unless some pins disappear due to change of Query of course). This could be in the context
menu. I know this is possible as when you recompile an SDK user module and add inputs, all the
existing inputs remain (the pin connections are store against parameter name).
So, for example, you have a patch with a selector module with 8 inputs. You realise you needed 16 inputs.
Instead of deleting the module, re-dropping and reconnecting, you just re-run the Query, the module gets
its new inputs - and you are happy !
I expect reloading the whole patch would be part of this process - fair enough.
(Sorry if this has been done in HH4)

Yes, done on HH4.
Select your module , type "recreate" in the contextual menu, choose the right number of inlets/ourlets, and decide or not to keep your preferences. It's done

Yes, and was existing in HH3 too !
recreate exists in HH3, but I don't remember it having option to keep the preferences or drop them.
