about video player

hi! i'm trying to get a short avi to make sound on it, i need to play it looping...
i can get the movie into the player,but it's not playing,i can see the first image,that's all, i don't think it 's a matter of codec,i've got k lite,and it's playing in bs with no problem...how to do that??

i've just test with a wmv and some avi files...
works here but not with all of them , you're right .
so i suppose you need to convert your file and experiment the format....?
for example , here an xvid codec using 25 pictures/sec works...
