preset manager - repeated recall of one preset not working ?

I have build a FX patch with several Vst which I control with my BCR.
I've put a preset manager there with a preset called "init" I want to recall everytime when I've "overtweaked" the patch.
Preset recall is also assigned to a button on my BCR.

I've obsorved that I cannot do:

tweak -> recall preset 1 (works for the first time) -> tweak -> recall preset 1 again (works not)

I can only recall preset 1 when I switch to another preset first and then back to preset 1.

Is this correct, any workarounds or am I doing something wrong ?

have you use the midi learn directly to the preset manager or do you use a button or something else..?

I've connected a button to "recall 0" on the preset manager and learned that button.
But regardless of this, even if I press the recall 0 button on the PM it doesn't work repeatedly.
Only if I switch to preset 1 and then back to preset 0 it gets recalled.

here's a screencapture what I mean:
I've assigned preset 0 to fader =1 and it only gets recalled if I switch to preset 1 first.

this is correct, i met the same problem in several patches, pm manager won't recall same preset, will work if changing preset, then back to 0 as a workaround.

in your case another workaround is that you could control the preset via a listbox connected to num. then work the same, but:

you can then make a A=0 out of listbox, multiply by the mousedwn out of lisbox, followed by a "has changed".
This mean it will make a pulse each time mouse is down and preset is 0. this pulse is a short 1 then 0.

so when you'll clic preset 0 on listbox, the small pulse will load preset1, then back 0, each time you clic on preset0, even if same,
and should then correct reload.

(connect listbox out to num of pm and also haschgd, wich will be additive, can post a pic if didn't understood..).

btw, i also add my request for an eventual "recall selected" button, or better if same can recall if a new pulse,
would that be possible olivier?

I agree, recall preset should do what it's called even if it's the same preset.

for my part , i don't use a button , but made my midi or key learn directly on the preset manager , this way it's work..?

hey you're right nay, that work wirh a keylearn as i wouldn't have thinked!!!

btw still would be cool to work at 'patch' level, but good to know.!

Uhm wait, how do you learn directly on the preset manager without a button ?
I thought maybe rightclick on the preset list but Midi learn is greyed out.

Never noticed that the PM shows up in remote.
