I have a problem using guitar amp VST

I'm using Reaper DAW. But I got Harsh sound especially in high end, I've used Protools, and Cubase too, I've tried many guitar amp VST. And many computers, and the result is always the same.

I have been checking a long time and I couldn’t find the problem. I think is because the internal process of my PC. I don’t understand why I still can’t get a good sound.

My PC Specifications

Intel Core 2Quad CPU
Q8200 @ 2.33GHz
2.33GHz, 3,24GB RAM

I have read about VST getTimeInfo() performance http://forum.cockos.com/project.php?issueid=2110, but I don't understand too much,

I really hope somebody can help me.

Thank you in advance

you dont tell about your audio interface/sound card. is it the on board sound chip? and speakers matter alot, too...

if u used the same speakers with the different pc s and software then it might be a speaker problem. it can be a problem with guitar amp. too, maybe it has a bug. i dont know the software...
thinkpad t61, xp 32bit, 2gig ram, rme multiface // acer timelinex 3820t, win7 64bit, 4gig ram, NI komplete audio 6 // reaktor, battery, nuendo // roland hpd15
