Ahoy!
I'm building myself a touch screen PC that I plan to use almost exclusively for playing Usine live, but I've seen mention that Usine can require more resources for video processing than maybe just a plain, boring DAW might. Thus, while I had originally intended to get the cheapest graphics card I could get away with (there's no integrated graphics in this build, as I'm using an I7 3930k), I'm wondering if a better card (with 2d graphics acceleration, of course) can improve the overall performance of Usine in any noticeable way? If it does improve performance, I assume there are diminishing returns on performance after a certain point, so I was hoping someone might have a guess of what general "level" of graphics card might be the most sensible to get? I have no ceiling for cash, but I still intend to get the cheapest card that will have sufficient performance.
I haven't been able to use Usine before because I've only ever owned Apple computers, so I really don't know.
PS....Usine is all of my dreams come true, assuming it runs well on my machine!
Graphics card
Hello Bolson and welcome,
Usine , of course don't need a graphic card like gamers use, but as all Windows program, will benefit of a decent one with integrated recent memory .
