hello everybody
i m new to this forum and new to the software.
my questions are refering to usine5.
i make electronic music with a real drummer and a bass player.
i m looking for a way to record drums and bass and the output of usine on separated tracks.
the tracks coming from usine should also be separated.
is the vst version of usine5 a multitrack instrument?
or to put it another way : how can i record the output of usine to separated tracks in an traditional DAW?
the 2nd question is about the sequencer of usine
can it record a live performance with fader movements?
any ideas

Hello and welcome funky guitarist !
For you 2d question, i'll answer you definitly and unfortunatly no
(in fact it's possible but not very very easy).
For the first question, i manage to do that with reaper and rearoute audio drivers. it's very usefull

I just tried Easine VSTi 5.8 in Studio One v2.5 and it shows 6 stereo Outputs (if you expand it in the Instruments panel) - so it should be definitely doable if your DAW supports multichannel out VSTs.
Usine Stage and Usine Pro only show a single stereo Output in Studio One, so maybe give Easine a try.
As for the fader movements:
Do you move the faders with an external controller? In that case you should be able to recoded them as Midi signals in the track where Usine VSTi resides.
If you use the Usine GUI for the fader movements, you could output them to midi in your patch and record them - depending on your DAW - on another Track with the Usine Track as input.
Cheers,
Tom

hi guys
thanks for the fast response
easine has multiple outputs but i dont know how to adress the different patches to different audio outputs
the rearoute idea sounds good. but at least in my stand alone version from usine 5 i cannot find different rearoute channels.
i already have a midi clock sync running between reaper and usine but i m still stuck with the audio part.
joffo78 how did you managed to get the rearoute connection?
cheers

hello
i m getting slowly forward
reamote seems to be a good choice
still the only problem is that i can t see the reamote driver in the system/ audio dialog in Usine5.
reaper is installed correctly. In ableton i can see the reamote asio driver.
it seems that the driver is maybe installed in another directory i don t know
can anyone help me with this problem?
thanx in advance

I had the same problem from you . It was because i installed reaper 64bits. Only 32 bit will be compatible with rearoute drivers on usine
Reaper can manage routing with Easine
create3 tracks and in the first rack add easine , here i use the patch multiplayer x5 where I've add several audio outputs in place of the stereo ones:

now click on this icon to create new sends for this track 1:

and now select the outputs you want to route:
