APC 20 #CC project

Hello Usiners ,

I have a question , I have recently purchased a APC 20 for my productions ,

I want to use my apc as a sequencer in several VST , but I wont loose the features for performance mode both in FL Studio and Aleton Live ,

What Im gonna ask im almost sure its possible to do it with usine , But I need your opinions here .

I want to use the grid of the APC20 as #CC notes as switch .

So , I want to make a basic grid of 8x10 switches buttons , I want to do all buttons in green when active

I know its possible to do it natively in Usine ,but the idea is to convert all the midi notes in the grid to #CC (control change) notes , and send the midi out to another DAW , for example FL Studio...

One question , will be possible to assign 4 different layers by the way? for example , create one Layer with 8x8 grid for sequencing , one layer with faders , and another with a X/Y control for example ???

If all you want to use "apc as a sequencer" why do you need this? If I understand correctly (again), it sounds like you need the opposite, ie. CCs to notes : ) Like, converting CCs coming from the APC into midi notes in Usine, sequence them in Usine, then send to VST.

By the way isn't APC able send midi notes already (I have no knowledge about that spesific controller)? If yes, why do you want to use CCs? If no, ie. if APC could only send the CCs in whatever working mode you put it in, then you need to convert CCs into Notes : )

Hi Question , thanks for your answer , what I want to make it simplier is to convert the default notes (midi notes) inside usine , to translate the message into CC signal (control change , like a fader does) and send this midi from usine to FL Studio , to control a VST

I want it to control a special VST which have button switches , so it just send 0 and 127

I want just to translate the native midi messages and prepare different templates for different VST maybe , I have some ideas
