strange behaviour using mouse

Usine HH2 win32 version 2.0.81b.
Anyone seen anything like this before ?
When I use the touchscreen to operate a listbox the patch updates corrrectly on the screen (move sliders, etc).
But when I use the laptop touchpad (i.e. the mouse), the screen does not update correctly (most things on screen to not redraw) until I click on another random visual component. The problem stops if a parameter window is open.
It I look at the trace window, the patch flow is correct, it is just the screen that is not updating p
I have tried rebooting the laptop and it is still acting the same way. There is no problem outside of Usine.

I never noticed this problem before.

The only thing I changed is moving some stuff to the interface builder, but when I move it back to the main screen the problem still occurs.

I should try using a newer version of HH2, but my license is currently out of date.

Any ideas ?

OK, my mistake. The rack with the misbehaving patch was switched off, but I did not realise as I was in
Interface Builder. Doh !

I'm a complete ditz when it comes to doing that stuff.
