Hello!

Over the years I have found that using the left & top for object placement is much easier and accurate then moving the objects by hand.
The problem with left & top is that it seems to be a relative change when holding shift to adjust at smaller increments.
This forces you to adjust the parameter manually with numerical input to get the grid to match up with corresponding objects.

Below is a simple graphical view of what happens, you have two objects.
Holding shift, then adjusting the left & top faders for smallest increment adjustment.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[] (object will overshoot, shift top dec)
[] [] []
[] (object to move, shift top adjust) [] (relative to its inc/dec numbers which never match the other objects)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So you can never line the objects up together using left & top fader adjustments with the mouse scroll or fader drag.

It seems that fixed grid snapping should be applied to this adjustment.
If this was the case, I would think using the left & top settings panel size tab superior for design.

the Shift + Mouse Move will be more accurate (step 1 by 1 on integer faders)
