Script: Matrix Exclusive Mode (forgot how to make this work...)

Hey guys,

someone quickly help me out on how to patch/connect the "Matrix Exclusive Mode" Script to a 4x16 Matrix.
Somehow can't get it to work. (I need the 4X16 matrix to behave like a monophonic Stepsequencer when drawing into it.)

they connect like this, then man choose on combobox if exlusive per row/per col ect
