please forgive me if this is already known. When editing interfaces in the IB especially in a complex patch the interface items jump all over the place and some loose their position entirely when editing the patches panel position or the size of the panel in IB. it seems like the IB gets confused sometimes. maybe a "super lock" is needed to super glue them in place. anyone else notice this behavior? thanks.

the position can be lost if you manipulate the "where" inlet otherwise it's more a bug.
I'll check it.

Hello !!!

It's very disturbing when you pull ten buttons one stroke on a vst or other things and come back to the grid and just see 1buttons hidding all over... it can't be usefull to choose how buttons and faders arrived on the grid ...Just on 1 point or one after the other...

It's just a suggestion, a kind of usine v4 and v5 ?

Very best

By default new controls are located in the upper-left corner.
It's the main drawback of the V5 but the advantage is that, unlike the V4, you can locate your control where you want.

one prob I just noticed, is that if you move an object in the IB past the left or top edge (which extends the IB area) invisible panels do not get adjusted along with the visible ones.

For me, I have lots of panels occupying the same area, but only one is visible at a time. All the invisible ones don't readjust to the new left and top edges of the IB.

A small bug, but one I have to be VERY careful with, or I will be spending a lot of time realigning containers.

i thought i would post this idea/suggestion in this topic instead of making a new topic,as its related

maybe this could be solved with some sort of snap-to-grid system??

I found this thread browsing the web because I'm having the same problem with USINE STAGE 5.80, items just don't stay in place in IB mode. I know its been 3 years from the last post but I wonder if it is an effective way to LOCK item position in IB or if it is just a bug. It is very annoying since I spend too much time arraging items for complex patches in IB. Thanks.
