Hello dears Usiner's,
i am exploring this fantastic Usine's program since two days and first of all, i have to say congratulations!
I have few interrogations though :
In the Demo folder the Midi and Spectral folders are empty, is this normal?
And the second question : is there some oscillators somewhere (except in the new Synthesis pack released by Nay-Seven but for gold member only :)
Thank's for your help

Welcome manécante :)

Except the oscillators from nay seven, there isn't any one. Usine is not a modular synth....Concerning the demo folder, i will have a look, as i don't remember

Hi manécante, and welcome in Usine world.

Apparently it's normal.
These folder are empty in all Usine versions. The related content can be found in the browser browser->usine->Midi Interface Objects and browser->usine->Spectral

There is no built in oscillators in usine. You'll find an LFO module in browser->Modules->LFO, that's all.

But with a browser->Modules->Lines, Steps, Switches, Curves->Lines and some imagination, you can produce some interesting results, depends of your needs.

Hope it help

Thank you guys for the welcome and quick replies,

@martignasse : ok for the spectral folder, but for the midi one, I was refering to the folder that should contain midi files ".mid", as it is mentionned in the manual (page 102), that we shoud be able to find some in Browser/Sound-Midi...
Anyway I can create some, but I was just wondering if my install was correct or if some things were missing.

oups, sorry

you are right, seems that the content of the midi folder has disappear since the 4.2 distribution.
the spectral folder was always empty, as far as i can verify in old distribs.

Anyway, your install is correct, it's in the distrib that files are missing.
