I need help with the sampler
Howdy all! First post here, I'm new to usine but I'm thrilled at the possibilities it offers!
My first purpose is to use it as a live loopstation. I've patched everything well, I think, for I get the sampler to loop properly from inside of usine. My problem happens when I try to control it from my external midi controllers. I assign a controller from my novation X-station, use the midi learn in usine to trigger a button module connected to rec on the sampler. The sampler does respond and starts recording... for 5.80 ms and starts looping... I tried toggle mode on my controller and a few other things but it only loops 5.80 ms of audio... I must be missing something, could anyone help me to find out what?
thanks a lot, looking forward to join this usine community!

hello and welcome
i suppose you talk about a switch ..?
a button send only one impulse , so not adapted for the rec function...
btw , have you check ' max record time " in the sampler module..?

Oh, I see, I knew it was a dumb mistake... It's working with the switch. I assigned a foot switch to the rec of the sampler, so when I press it it records until I depress it. I'd like to have the possibility to toggle rec on and off so that I don't have to hold it down.
on your switch : right click and toggle mode...?...
and , not a big problem , but next time , this kind of question could have a better place in " patching " topics...

Ok, the toggle isn't quite right yet... My connections are as follows:
footswitch assigned to a switch module, plugged into toggle module, plugged in rec in of sampler. It behaves strangely, sometimes working, sometimes not...
Other question: is there a way to crossfade a sample to hide loop points?
Thanks

i don't think about a "toggle " module , but when you do your midi learn by right click , check also " remote mode toggle "..
about loop point have you checked " zero cross " option in the sampler..?
