Hi,

Some suggestion about the sampler module (and grain resampler):
I've noticed that the recording length is limited to 20 sec.
For most applications that's fairly enough, but there are some cases where it would be great if we could record longer samples (even unlimited). I imagine the time is limited to save RAM and/or CPU usage, so maybe we could just have an option in the module to set max recording time for when we need more.
What do you think?

I know that 20 sec can be short...
I can extend to any value you want, but I have noticed that in some situation, recording a long sample can cause a deep crash of Usine. Especially if we don't have enough memory.
By the past it was unlimited, and one time I forgot to stop the recording on stage. Then, after half an hour...CRASHHHHHHH.

The previous version was limited to 200 sec.
Tel me what amount you think is the best compromise between safety and functionality.

I could also create a fader to change the value.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, a fader would be the best solution, with maybe a "default" setting of 30-40 sec, but expandable to let's say a few minutes (300-600 sec).

Of course the perspective of a crash is never good, so the best compromise will be the longest that stays secure...

A recorded sound takes 21Mb per minute in memory:

44100 x 2 (L&R) x 4 (32bits) x 60 (sec) = 21MB

so I think that 3 minutes is a good compromise?

No risk no fun???
